Patrick Nehls is an Associate Vice President of Campus Operations for the college and provides oversight for multiple campus locations, as well as the Online campus and virtual teams. He is a 40-year Florida native and, before joining Galen, spent the majority of his career in the finance and customer service industries with a focus on mortgage lending at Bank of America. Patrick joined Galen College of Nursing in July of 2010 in the admissions department and showcased his acumen for organizational support, operational logistics, and the development of team members.

Since 2015, Patrick has been responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operational functions at the Tampa Bay campus, and shortly thereafter, assumed the operational oversight of our San Antonio, TX campus. Patrick has been and continues to be an instrumental player in implementing the College’s ambitious growth plans. Patrick played a significant role in the launch of our Miami, FL campus in December of 2020, and our new Austin, TX campus launch in August of 2021. Patrick will assume the campus operations functions at these new locations.
