Lorraine Geffon began with Galen in April of 2015 and currently am the Associate Dean of the Asheville, North Carolina campus. Prior to this position she was the Associate Degree and Licensed Practical Nursing Program Director at the St. Petersburg, Florida Campus of Galen. Former roles before that included in order, Associate program director to the Associate and LPN programs in Tampa, Clinical Education Coordinator and Clinical faculty.

She received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Valencia Community College and continued to receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida. She earned a master’s degree in business centered in Healthcare and a Master of Nursing degree with an educational focus, both from Western Governor’s University. She is am a member of the National League of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau Psi Upsilon Chapter, Organization of Associate Degree Nursing, American Nurses Association and Delta Upsilon Tau.
