Glen Cornwall joined Galen College of Nursing as nursing faculty in 2013. In 2014 he was promoted to the position of Program Director. Prior to joining Galen, Mr. Cornwall held various roles in nursing education, nursing practice, leadership, and emergency medical services (EMS). Additionally, Mr. Cornwall is a United States Naval veteran who served as a Hospital Corpsman with the United States Marines and Navy. His combined experiences in EMS, nursing practice, nursing education and as a combat veteran have provided him with the skills to be an effective campus leader.

Mr. Cornwall earned his associate degree in nursing from Hillsborough Community College, a bachelor’s degree and Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Barry University.

Galen College of Nursing (Galen) is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, and master’s degrees. Galen consists of a Main Campus located in Kentucky and off-campus instructional sites in Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. Branch campus accreditation is dependent upon the continued accreditation of the Main Campus.
