Allison Boggs, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

Dr. Boggs has been a Registered Nurse for 21 years and a Family Nurse Practitioner for 17 years. She joined Galen College of Nursing in 2018 as an adjunct lab faculty. Prior to being named Associate Dean, Dr. Boggs served as the Clinical Lab Coordinator and Associate Program Director of the Hazard Campus. Dr. Boggs will also serve as Associate Dean of the Pikeville Campus.

Dr. Boggs earned as Associate Degree in Nursing in 2001 from Hazard Community and Technical College. She earned a BSN in 2003 and MSN from 2005 from Eastern Kentucky University. Most recently, Dr. Boggs earned a DNP from American Sentinel College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Post University. Dr. Boggs lives in Hazard, KY and takes great pride in how Galen has changed the lives of many people in her community.
